	“Women will look to the future with free thought”

	 

	A woman named Xatûn Sultan said the women would look to the future with free thought and added, “The victory of the National Democratic Project proves the national unity. In the elections, the women represented themselves democratically. In this way, the women showed their free decision.”

	 

	‘The purpose of the elections is to meet the needs of the peoples’

	 

	Xatûnê talked about the expectation and demands of the public and she said, “The main objective of these elections is to ensure peace for people living in the Northern Syria and Rojava. The purpose of the elections is to meet the needs of the peoples.”

	 

	Another woman named Ranye Hesen also talked about the elections and she said, “These elections are a very important and special issue for women to play their role in every aspect of life. We have to stand up for our common rights for our own rights and freedom. We must keep our struggle to have a common life.”

	 

	Şîraz Elî also emphasized that the elections that took place will pave the way for peace and freedom for them and she added, “Local elections have also proved that the woman can do everything.”

	Leyle Henen said, “These elections were necessary to solve the community's social problems. They were also important for women in social development. Women can form a free life for the society by playing a pioneering role in every sphere of life.”
