Police obstruct for Sur documentary

	İSTANBUL - 'Sûr: Ax û Welat' documentary, which has been supposed to be put on display on December 3, in Şişli Cemil Candaş Culture Center, has been cancelled due to the police obstruct.

	 

	"Sûr: Ax û Welat" documentary, which is supposed to be met with audience on Sunday, on December 3, in İstanbul Şişli Cemil Candaş Culture Center, has been cancelled due to the police obstruct. Police, who go to the Culture Center, have oppressed people by saying “Do you allow HDP’s activity here?” to make them cancel the documentary. It is pointed that police has reached the director of the documentary and said “First we will watch the documentary”, however, the directors objected to that. The culture center cancelled the documentary’s display as a result of the pressures of the police and MPs of HDP and CHP couldn’t get return of their efforts.

	 

	What was the 'Sûr: Ax û Welat' documentary?

	 

	On the 2nd anniversary of the blockade in Sur, the documentary, which includes images and videos taken inside of Sur and interviews of people of Sur, was prepared by Collective Sur Documentary. The documentary has supposed to be meet audience on December 3 with the participation of people, who forced to migrate from Sur and witnessed to the process of Sur.
