
SGDF Co-chair Ceren Çoban released from prison

	ISTANBUL - Federation of Socialist Youth Associations (SGDF) Co-chair Ceren Çoban and the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) member Ali Karaçay and Çağrı Aydoğan have been released at the first hearing in the trial against them.

	&nbsp;

	On August 29, the Federation of Socialist Youth Associations (SGDF) Co-chair Ceren Çoban and the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) member Ali Karaçay and Çağrı Aydoğan were taken into custody after house raids on their homes in Istanbul. The first hearing in the trial against them was held today by Istanbul 32nd High Criminal Court.

	&nbsp;

	The prosecutor demanded the release of all defendants and the court has ordered release of Ceren, Ali and Çağrı on condition that an international travel ban has been imposed on them.
