SKM activist Burcu Durak detained

	ANKARA - The Socialist Women's Assembly (SKM) activist Burcu Durak was taken into custody in front of the Dikmen gate of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on the grounds that an investigation has been opened against her.  

	The Socialist Women's Assembly (Sosyalist Kadın Meclisi- SKM) activist Burcu Durak was taken into custody in front of the Dikmen gate of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on the grounds that an investigation has been opened against her. Burcu went to the Dikmen gate of the Turkish Grand National Assembly in order to attend the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Group Meeting to be held regarding the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, November 25, but she was taken into custody on the grounds that an investigation was opened against her on April. Burcu has been taken to Ankara Courthouse.
