LGBTI organizations in Ankara have released a joint statement on the indefinite ban on all activities of LGBTI organizations in Ankara. The organizations have announced that they will initiate legal action against the decision.   The statement says: “We expect this decision to be reconsidered and withdrawn as soon as possible. Discrimination and hatred based on sexual orientation and gender identity are so intense in our country and the duty of national and local administrations is to combat this discrimination and hate.”   Ankara Governorate banned “German LGBT Film Festival” to be organized last week.
