Killed women’s names given to avenues

	İSTANBUL- We Want to Live Initiative, gave the names of killed women to the avenues within the scope of November 25 actions. The women also made call for November 25 actions.

	 

	The We Want to Live Initiative gave the names of women, who were killed in many district of İstanbul, to the avenues. The women has changed the name of many avenues in the districts of Ataşehir, Maltepe, Sancaktepe, Kadıköy, Eyüp, İkitelli, Küçükçekmece, Tuzla ve Bağcılar with the killed women’ names.

	 

	In the action that carried out within the scope of November 25, the women hanged out the street signs where the names of killed women by male violence are written. The written names were as follows: Nurcan Aslan, Özgecan Aslan, Sinem Metin, Güldünya Tören, Helin Palandöken, Münevver Karabulut, Hande Kader, Gülay Bursalı ve Şengül Karaca

	 

	The women also hanged banners reading “Stop violation against women, we want to live” in the districts and made a call for November 25 actions.
