Figen Yüksekdağ refuses to attend the hearing through SEGBİS

	VAN – HDP former Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ refused to attend the hearing held by 2nd High Criminal Court in Van province through the voice and video informatics system (SEGBİS). The court has ruled the file of the case to be compiled with other file opened in Ankara province.

	The third hearing of the case opened against the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) former Co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ was held by the 2nd High Criminal Court in Van province. Figen is being tried on charges of “insulting the President” and “making propaganda of a (terrorist) organization” for her speeches during activities organized in Van province by the HDP. Figen, who is held in Kandıra F-type Closed High Security Prison, refused to attend the hearing through the voice and video informatics system (SEGBİS).

	The court has ruled the file of the case to be compiled with other file opened against Figen in Ankara province.
