House raids in Istanbul, Mersin: 20 people detained

	ISTANBUL / MERSİN - 14 people have been taken into custody in house raids conducted in 12 districts of Istanbul. Six people, including HDP District Co-chair Mehdiye Çiçekdağ, have been detained in the Tarsus district of Mersin province.

	Police conducted simultaneous house raids in Esenyurt, Esenler, Eyüp, Güngören, Fatih, Kadıköy, Büyükçekmece, Sancaktepe, Sultangazi, Sultanbeyli, Ümraniye and Tuzla districts of Istanbul and detained 14 people. Detained 14 people have been taken to Istanbul Police Headquarters on Vatan Avenue.

	Names of some of detained people are: Uğur Moco, Semih Aladağ, İhsan Sütçü, Mazlum Korkmaz, Edip Cemiloğlu.

	House raids in Tarsus

	Police conducted simultaneous house raids in Girne and Şahin neighborhoods of Mersin’s Tarsus district and detained six people, including HDP District Co-chair Mehdiye Çiçekdağ. The detained people are reportedly taken to Police Headquarters in the district. Names of some detained people are: Mehdiye Çiçekdağ, Hüseyin Çiçek, Hamdiye Kırıcı and her daughter and Edip Nergis.
