Women politicians point out that all segments, particularly women, should rise to end the isolation.   Recently, Kurdish people have organized actions in Kurdistan and Europe after the posts on social media saying that the PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan has lost his life. As the women have taken leading role in the actions, women politicians stated that women come to these days thanks to PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and that the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan is their freedom.   ‘They shouldn’t test the Kurdish people’s patience’   Nevriye Tür, Municipal Council member of Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, stated that the isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan should be lifted immediately and that a meeting with him should be arranged. Recalling that the latest Mehmet Öcalan saw Abdullah Öcalan, Nevriye added, “Mehmet Öcalan could see him as a result of the indefinite and irreversible hunger strike. After his meeting, the aggravated isolation imposed on him continues. In the previous days, several social media accounts shared posts saying that he lost his life. This news wasn’t posted in vain. We are concerned about Mr. Öcalan's health. Maybe they want to test the Kurdish people’s patience with this news but they shouldn’t test the Kurdish people’s patience.”   ‘We will hold actions’   Stating that no news has been received from Abdullah Öcalan for a long time, Nevriye emphasized that the Kurds shouldn’t stay silent against this. Nevriye said, “A meeting should be immediately arranged with the leader. Because the leader has a very different meaning for women. We come to these days thanks to the leader. We will hold actions for the leader. My call to women is; we should stand up for our leader. We should not stop for a minute until we hear from our leader, considering the possibilities he has offered us.”   ‘The leader can only stop the war’   Beyaz Kaplan, Municipal Council member of Çınar district of Diyarbakır, pointed out the news on social media. Beyaz said, “We don’t know if the news is true but the government wants to check the Kurdish people's pulse. His family and lawyers should see him immediately. This isolation should be broken soon. A war process is going on and the leader can only stop this war. Everyone should do their parts in order to arrange a meeting with him. Freedom of women is freedom of the leader. All segments, particularly women, should rise to end the isolation. This isolation is imposed on all Kurdish people. I believe that the Kurds will break this isolation.”
