
The siege of Kobanê continues

	NEWS CENTRE - The siege and resistance in Kobanê has entered its 17th day.

	&nbsp;

	Despite the agreement reached between the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) and HTS, the siege of Kobanê continues on its 17th day. As a result of attacks launched on 6 January in Aleppo by DAISH-HTS and gangs supported by Turkey, electricity, water and internet lines were cut off in Kobanê. While the city still lacks water, electricity and internet, the humanitarian crisis is deepening due to the intense migration to the city.

	&nbsp;

	Although there are no attacks or clashes in Kobanê, the siege continues, and the resistance of the defence forces and the people continues. While the people of Kobanê continue their vigil to defend the city, the Internal Security Forces and QSD are also ensuring security in the region.
