242 organisations, 113 names: Global solidarity for Rojava 2026-02-02 15:19:50   NEWS CENTRE - Riseup4Rojava and Women Defend Rojava have published a statement signed by 242 organisations and 113 individuals from 45 countries, calling for the continuation of actions and events in support of Rojava.    RiseUp4Rojava (Stand Up for Rojava) and Women Defend Rojava, collectives formed by revolutionary groups against the attacks on Rojava, called for the continuation of actions. The collectives published a call signed by 242 organisations and 113 individuals from 45 countries, including Albania, Argentina, Austria, Chile, Andalusia, France, Baluchistan, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Catalonia, Colombia, Cyprus, Denmark, the Basque Country, and Finland.    The collectives, which declared the week of 25 January-1 February as a week of action in solidarity with the Rojava resistance, noted in their written statement that their actions were particularly significant on 26 January Kobanê Action Day, 31 January Women Defend Rojava Action Day and 1 February World Solidarity with Rojava Day.   The pressure must continue   RiseUp4Rojava press spokesperson Nadine Amir said, ‘The protests showed how strong international solidarity with Rojava is. As in Europe, a movement has emerged in South America that takes a clear stand against this war and those who profit from it.’    The statement quoted QSD General Commander Mazlum Ebdi as saying, ‘International solidarity has greatly strengthened us morally and drawn worldwide attention to Rojava.’ However, Women Defend Rojava and RiseUp4Rojava cautioned against interpreting this development as a sign that everything is back on track. Ceasefires have been violated repeatedly in the past, and concrete steps to reduce tensions have not yet been implemented. The alliances call for continued international pressure and for attacks on North and East Syria to remain on the public agenda."
