QSD–Damascus talks on ceasefire and integration agreement 2026-01-30 11:43:42   NEWS CENTRE - QSD (Democratic Syrian Forces) issued a statement regarding the meeting held with Damascus.   The QSD Press Office issued a written statement on its account regarding the meeting held between QSD and Damascus.   The statement reads:   "A ceasefire has been secured between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) within the framework of a comprehensive agreement. According to the agreement, the two sides have reached a consensus on the gradual integration of military and administrative forces. The agreement includes the withdrawal of military forces from contact points, the entry of Interior Ministry security forces into the city centres of Hêseke and Qamişlo, the start of the integration of security forces in the region, and the formation of a military brigade consisting of three SDF brigades, in addition to the establishment of a Kobani brigade within a brigade affiliated with the Aleppo Governorate.   The agreement also covers the integration of Autonomous Administration institutions into Syrian state institutions and the recruitment of civil servants. Furthermore, agreement was reached on resolving the civil and educational rights of the Kurdish people and guaranteeing the return of displaced persons to their regions. The agreement aims to unite Syrian territory and ensure full integration in the region by strengthening cooperation between the relevant parties and combining efforts for the reconstruction of the country.
