	NEWS CENTRE - The People's Caravan is heading to Kobanê with participants. Internationalists joining the caravan from Turin called on people to ‘come together and break the silence’.

	 

	Attacks by HTS, DAISH and gangs affiliated with Turkey on Rojava continue, while Kobanê remains under siege. The Peoples' Caravan set out to break the silence of Western states regarding the siege. Internationalists joining the caravan from Turin, Italy, made a statement. 

	 

	The statement said, ‘Hello, we are in Turin, here today, in the city of Turin in northern Italy. As part of the Southern European Route, the Peoples' Caravan is setting off from here today. To reach Kobanê, to defend the Rojava revolution and to defend the people.’ 

	 

	Call to break the silence

	 

	Fabio, who joined the caravan from Turin, said: "Hello, my name is Fabio, I am from Italy and I am writing to provide information about the convoy that is setting off today. We invite you to support the convoy and the Rojava revolution. Let's break the silence together."
