The march, which carried out with the initiative of the Non Una di Meno (Not One Less), started in Repubblica, one of the busiest squares of the capital Rome, and continued till the San Giovanni Square.   ‘We want to live’   The violence against women was protested in the march. The government was asked to take steps to protect women much better.   Women often chanted slogan as ‘’We want to live’’. Participants in the march also stated that violence against women in the home increased during the Covid-19 epidemic.   100.000 people attended   In the last part of the cortege, the women lighted candles they brought with them as it got dark. According to the organizers, the number of people participating in the march reached 100.000.   103 women were killed   According to the annual report of the Italian police station, 103 women were killed in the country from the beginning of the year to November 7. It was stated that 87 of the femicides were the result of domestic violence or partner violence.
