‘Justice Vigil’ continues on its 266th day

	URFA - Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, who have been on the ‘’Justice Vigil’’ for 266 days, said that they are determined to continue the vigil until justice is provided, and drew attention to Emine Şenyaşar’s health problems.

	 

	The ‘’Justice Vigil’’ started on March 9 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her spouse and two sons as a result of the attacks of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s guards and relatives, and Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attacks with injuries, continues on its 266th day. Emine and Ferit, who continue their vigil in the area called ‘’Şenyaşar family justice corner’’, unfurled a placard writes on ‘’We want justice’’.

	 

	Speaking during the vigil, Ferit said, ‘’When we started the Justice Vigil, the season was spring, now we are about to enter winter. We have two demands. While these should have been met, we could not find an addressee for nine months’’.

	 

	‘We are determined’

	 

	Emphasizing that the massacre took place in Suruç State Hospital, Ferit underlined that it was a massacre that was in front of everyone’s eyes, but that the dark forces within the rulership took hold of all the institutions in Urfa. ‘’State’s laws are not enforced. These forces act in their own interests. Everyone asks themselves if Urfa is a province of Turkey. MP is protected. For this reason, the laws do not work in Urfa. During the summer months of Justice Vigil, we stood for days under the hot sun. The winter months have come. The weather is getting colder every day. We are determined, we will continue our vigil until justice is provided. My mother’s health problems are obvious,’’ Ferit said.

	 

	The family also shared the following message from their digital media accounts, ‘’There is a bloody and dark structure within the AKP in Şanlıurfa. This structure, which is under the control of MP, makes ineffective the state in Urfa and implements its own laws’’.
