Call for participation to ‘Edî Bese’ rally from Peace Mothers Council

	DİYARBAKIR - The Peace Mothers Council called for participation in the statement made regarding the women’s rally will be held at the Istasyon Square tomorrow.

	 

	Under the leading of Free Women’s Movement (TJA) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Women’s Council, a rally will be held in Diyarbakır Istasyon Square with the slogan ‘’Edî bese (enough) to racism and sexism, now is the time for women’s freedom’’. Diyarbakır Peace Mothers Council made a press release regarding the rally at the association’s buildings. In the statement, Council member Raife Özbey spoke on behalf of the mothers.

	 

	‘We want the isolation to end’

	 

	Raife started her speech by celebrating the 9th anniversary of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP). Saying that the HDP is everyone’s party, Raife stated that they do not accept the oppression on the HDP and said: ‘’We are always stand behind the HDP under all circumstances.’’

	 

	Calling for participation in the rally that will be held at 13:00 tomorrow, Raife said: ‘’It is our call to everyone, all women come to the Istasyon Square. We invite all women from the neighborhood to the villages from everywhere. We should be there to raise our voice against isolation, gendercide, oppressions and injustices. We want the pressure and isolation on our detainees to end. Again, we want the gendercide and the oppression of men on women to end. We do not accept harassment, rape, femicides, we condemn these.’’
