Justice vigil on its 207th day 2021-10-01 15:56:29     URFA - Continuing their struggle for justice, Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar family called to the parliament and said: ‘’We want injustice to be eliminated as soon as possible.’’   The Justice Vigil, started on March 9, in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguard and relatives, and Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack with injuries, continues on its 207th day.   Justice vigil on its 207th day   Ferit Şenyaşar, who is on the Justice Vigil, stated that he and his mother have been waiting for justice for 207 days for an effective investigation and a fair trial. Expressing that there was a massacre, Ferit said: ‘’Three of our people were killed in Suruç State Hospital. Although three years and three months have passed, unfortunately, the authorized prosecutors do not open this case. They are being the partners in this perpetrated massacre and crime.’’   Ferit stated that their struggle is no longer discrete and that they have the support of everyone in the country, and continued: ‘’As of October 1, the parliament will be opened. All political parties follow our deserving cause. When the parliament opens, one of the main agenda topics will be our case. We will fight until the end. We will not leave the courthouse.’’   Call to parliament   Expressing that his brother was arrested unlawfully as a result of political pressure, Ferit stated that they have two demands in front of the courthouse, and said: ‘’We want the release of my brother, who was unlawfully imprisoned, and the second, that the crime against humanity committed in the hospital should not be covered up.’’   Addressing the MPs in the parliament, Ferit said: ‘’I am calling on all MPs here. We want this injustice in front of the Urfa Courthouse to be eliminated as soon as possible.”
