‘Justice’ vigil on its 200th day 2021-09-24 16:44:25     URFA - On the 200th day of Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar’s protest demanding ‘’justice’’ in front of the Urfa Courthouse, the police seized photographs and banners before the statement.   The ‘’Justice Vigil’’ started on March 9 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s bodyguard and relatives, and Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack with injuries, continues on its 200th day. At the call of the Association of Lawyers for Freedom (OHD) Urfa Branch, the courthouse was blockaded by the police in the morning before the vigil, which 200 lawyers were expected to attend.   Before the statement, the family placed a banner and photographs of the attack time and taken during the vigil in the area called ‘’Şenyaşar family justice corner’’. The police tried to prevent the family from wanting to put the photographs of the attack and the vigil process on the easel. The police seized the photographs of Esvet and his sons, Adil and Celal Şenyaşar, who were murdered, and banner that read: ‘’Father and two sons were murdered inside Suruç State Hospital on 14.06.2018. There has not been a single prisoner for three years. May the law of the superiors end. When Emine said, ‘’The state has no justice,’’ a police officer replied as ‘’The state is here’’. Meanwhile, tensions arose between the police and the lawyers.
