	HAKKARİ - A fire broke out yesterday in the forest area in Yeni Neighborhood and Begirdî hamlet of Şemdinli. As the fire spread with the effect of the wind, the teams intervened in the morning hours.

	For an undetermined reason, a forest fire broke out in the forest area where the Yeni Neighborhood and Nehrî village Begirdî hamlet is located in Hakkari’s Şemdinli district. The fire, which started at two different points yesterday noon, began to spread with the effect of the wind.

	Crews came to the fire area in the morning

	&nbsp;

	Due to the fire, thousands of decares of land have been turned to ash so far. The teams affiliated to the Forestry Directorate, which were sent to the region in the morning hours, started to intervene in the fire with the help of the villagers.

	While the villagers call for an aerial response to a fire, efforts to extinguish the fire continue.
