
Van rally starts: Peace keeps women alive

	VAN - Women who attended the ‘’Peace Keeps Alive’’ rally in Van, in colorful national clothes, entered the rally area with the banner ‘’Peace keeps women alive’’ and the slogans ‘’Bijî berxwedana zindanan’’.

	&nbsp;

	Under the leading of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Van Provincial Organization, the 1 September World Peace Day rally to be held in Musa Anter Peace Park with the slogan ‘’Peace Keeps Alive’’ started with a women’s march. Before the rally, the park was blockaded by the polices with barriers. Citizens entered the area by making a body search at the search points established at the three entrances of the park.

	Banners ‘’Say stop to isolation for social peace’’ and ‘’Women keep peace alive’’ were hung in the rally area. Women entered the rally with the banner ‘’Peace keeps women alive’’ and the slogans ‘’Bijî berxwedana zindanan’’. Women continue to enter the rally area with their colorful national clothes.

	HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan and DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır will make speeches at the rally.
