Hunger strike resistance on its 274th day 2021-08-27 17:04:57       NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike against the isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and violations of rights in prisons has entered its 274th day.   The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the end of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons, has entered its 274th day. The hunger strike resistance, which started indefinitely and alternately every five days and continued alternately every 15 days since 14 July, continues with the 49th group.   253rd day in Maxmur   The hunger strike that started on December 18, 2020, in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by women against the Imralı isolation, and continued at the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council, has entered its 253rd day.   Hunger strike in Lavrio Camp on its 236th day   The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by those staying in Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and to support the ongoing hunger strike in prisons is on its 236th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurd li Ewropayê) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
