	URFA - Saadet Özen (73), a cancer patient who was on her way from Mardin to Izmir for treatment, was detained in Urfa.

	Saadet Özen, a 73-year-old cancer patient who was on her way to Izmir for treatment from the rural Qizler (Kızlar) Neighborhood of Derik district of Mardin, was detained. Saadet, who was found to have a warrant issued in 2017 during the criminal record check (GBT) conducted at the police checkpoint in the Birecik district of Urfa last night, was taken into custody by getting off the bus. It was stated that Saadet is being held in the Birecik District Police Department.

	It was learned that Saadet, who was diagnosed with throat cancer a short time ago, went to her son, who lives in Izmir, for treatment.
