‘Justice’ vigil continues for 164 days 2021-08-19 14:19:48     URFA - Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, who have been vigil in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 164 days, shared the message ‘’The state is strong as long as it is fair’’ on their digital media accounts.   Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed as a result of the attack, and Ferit Şenyaşar, who was injured in the attack, started the vigil in front of the Urfa Courthouse, demanding ‘’justice’’, on the 164th day. Emine and Ferit, who arrived in front of the courthouse early in the morning, started the vigil in the area called ‘’Şenyaşar family justice corner’’.   Emine and Ferit put the following banner to the concrete blocks in front of the courthouse: ‘’Father and two sons were murdered inside Suruç State Hospital on 14.06.2018. There has not been a single prisoner for three years! May the law of the superiors come to an end. Justice for All’’. Emine and Ferit, who give information about the massacre they suffered to those who pass by the courthouse, continue the vigil by telling their struggle for justice.   ‘The police station fined us’   The family tagged the Urfa Provincial Security Directorate and the Governorship of Urfa on their Twitter account, and shared the photo of the moment when İbrahim Yıldız, nephew of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, fired with a gun, and the photo of the banner they placed in front of the barriers, with the following message: ‘’The police station fined us for hanging a banner writing, ‘We want justice’ in front of the courthouse. Why don’t you arrest the person who attacked our workplace and fired a gun! The state is strong as long as it is fair.’’
