Resistance against isolation on its 261st day

	NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike resistance against the isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing rights violations in prisons is on its 261st day.

	 

	The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the end of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons, is on its 261st day. The hunger strike resistance, which started indefinitely and alternately every five days, and continues alternately every 15 days since 14 July, continues with the 49th group.

	 

	Hunger strike in Maxmur is on its 240th day

	 

	The hunger strike in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by women against the Imralı isolation, on December 18, 2020, and continued at the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council, has entered its 240th day.

	 

	Day 223 in Lavrio

	 

	The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by who are staying in the Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation on the PKK leader and to support the ongoing hunger strikes in prisons has entered its 223rd day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurd li Ewropayê) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
