The hunger strike of the prisoners, which has reached the 245th day, continues in Turkish prisons in order to break this isolation and bring freedom.’’ Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Mithat Sancar and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chair Saliha Aydeniz met with representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations at a hotel in the Tatvan district of Bitlis as part of the program ‘’We are HDP's, We Are Everywhere’’.   ‘The main agenda of the Kurdish people is the isolation in Imralı’ Speaking at the meeting, Saliha Aydeniz stated that they, as HDP and DBP, have been putting a plan in front of them for a long time and in this context, they have come together with NGOs in Tatvan with the campaign "We are HDP's, We Are Everywhere". Saliha said: ‘’The basis of our agenda is the isolation on Mr. Abdullah Öcalan. The hunger strike of the prisoners in prisons in Turkey continues until the 245th day in order to break this isolation and bring freedom. What can we do against the ongoing hunger strike? How can we respond to these demands of the prisoners? Again, you know, the biggest attacks today are the gains of the Kurdish people, the pressure on the Kurdish people's language and identity. They are attacks against Kurdish existence. Here, as NGOs and our mothers, we are together to exchange views and get their opinions on these agendas. We know very well that; Thanks to the stance of our mothers and our struggle, this persecution and oppression has never reached its goal, it will never reach its goal.’’   ‘We will determine our path together with our people’ HDP Co-Chair Mithat Sancar, who took the floor afterwards, pointed out that the attacks against their parties, workers and Kurdish people were the result of the policies of the government. Emphasizing that the current system is a system that produces oppression, Mithat said: ‘’How can we change both this system and the government? We are trying to answer these questions. As we said at the beginning, we will determine our path together with our people. We will determine our path together with the forces of democracy.’’ The meeting continued with mutual exchange of views. After the meeting, HDP and DBP delegations set off to go to Norşin district of Bitlis.
