	ISTANBUL - In Harbiye, trans woman Beren Ecmel was exposed to violence by an unidentified person.

	&nbsp;

	In the Harbiye town of Istanbul’s Şişli district, trans woman Beren Ecmel was exposed to verbal and then physical violence by an unidentified person yesterday evening. Beren’s face was also cut with a sharp object.&nbsp;

	While it was stated that the perpetrator who injured Beren fled the scene, it was not known whether an investigation could be started or not.
