	DERSİM - Munzur Nature and Culture Festival Organizing Committee announced that the festival celebrations were canceled this year due to the Covid-19 epidemics.

	 

	Munzur Culture and Nature Festival Organizing Committee made a statement regarding the festival, which is planned to be organized for the 20th time by the municipality this year. Speaking in a statement made in the conference hall of the municipality, Ali Mükan drew attention to the increase in the Covid-19 epidemics. Pointing to the statement made by the Health and Social Service Workers Union (SES) Dersim Branch regarding the variants of the epidemic, Ali announced that this year's festival celebrations were cancelled.

A new evaluation has been made considering the possibility that large crowds will threaten the general public health, and the 20th Munzur Culture and Nature Festival has been postponed to the next year to be held more enthusiastically and in accordance with its purpose. The festival is an effort to protect the nature, history, culture, belief and language of the people of Dersim. We will continue to work to protect our nature and keep the culture alive.’’
