
Visit from HDP to Deniz Poyraz’s family

	İZMİR - HDP Izmir Provincial Organization and HDK Izmir provincial representatives paid a bairam visit to Deniz Poyraz's family. During the visit where the massacres were wished to end, Deniz's family stated that they wanted peace.

	Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Izmir Provincial Organization, Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK) Izmir Provincial representatives and HDP Izmir MP Serpil Kemalbay paid a bairam visit to the family of party employee Deniz Poyraz, who was killed in the attack on party buildings.

	‘People did not leave us alone’

	&nbsp;

	Her mother, Fehime Poyraz, accepted the bairam greetings and said: ‘’I do not feel the absence of Deniz, if I am alone then. But the public never left us alone.’’ Deniz's father, Abdülillah Poyraz, said: ‘’We want peace, neither the Kurdish family, nor the Turkish mother, nor the military mother, nor the mothers of the people in the mountains want to cry. We are all human, even though the language, religion, thought and sect are different. We want fraternity, we do not want bloodshed. Long live the fraternity of peoples. HDP belongs to the people, whoever accepts it belongs to him/her.’’

	‘Massacres do not intimidate people’

	&nbsp;

	Expressing that millions are with them against those who killed Deniz, Serpil Kemalbay said: ‘’Massacre and attacks do not intimidate people. On the contrary, it brings with it more struggle and solidarity.’’

	Finally, Serpil wished that the massacres would end and peace, fraternity and justice would be ensured.
