	On the 9th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, a campaign was launched demanding the official recognition of the status of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria by the United Nations (UN). The campaign launched with the hashtag #Status4NorthAndEastSyria was started by the General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazlum Ebdî.

	Aldar Xelîl: This administration gave thousands of martyrs for humanity

	 

	Democratic Union Party (PYD) Co-Chairship Council Member Aldar Xelîl stated the following in his post: ‘’The Autonomous Administration is a qualitative project that symbolizes the defeat of ISIS and represents the core of the ideal democratic project in the region. It expresses the reality of women and their role in advancing women's struggle for freedom. The administration project represents the cohesion and strength of society through the philosophy of democratic nation and fraternity of peoples. This administration gave thousands of martyrs and heroes for the defence of humanity, democracy and unity of peoples. In line with the basic fact that there is a legitimate administration that represents the will of a pluralistic society in Northern and Eastern Syria, the whole world should support this administration for its political recognition.’’
