
Women call to Taksim: We meet with all our disobedience

	ISTANBUL - The Implement the Istanbul Convention Campaign Group shared its new action calendar and said: ‘’If Turkey is the first and only country to withdraw from the Istanbul Convention on July 1, that is, if it declares that it has reneged on its obligation to prevent violence, we meet with all our disobedience at 19.00 in Taksim/Tunnel.’’

	The Implement the Istanbul Convention Campaign Group is preparing to meet in Taksim Tunnel on July 1 against the annulment of the Istanbul Convention. The campaign group has updated its action and event calendar, seven days before the termination decision takes effect. The campaign group said: ‘’We continue to make a sound and be on the street every day until July 1 for the Council of State to stay of execution and withdraw the decision. If the decision is not withdrawn, made a statement as: #WeAreInRevoltOnJuly1! Let's go to Taksim Tunnel at 19:00!”

	Women will make a call to Taksim for July 1 by distributing leaflets in Beşiktaş today. In addition, they will come together at Sarıyer Women's Festival on Saturday and in Okmeydanı on Monday and continue their actions.
