
Istanbul Convention officially abolishes on July 1

	ANKARA - The official abolition date of the Istanbul Convention was announced as July 1. The decision was published in the Official Gazette.

	&nbsp;

	After the Presidential Decree announced that the Istanbul Convention was withdrawn on March 20, protests took place with the participation of thousands of women in all cities of the country, and objections were expressed regarding the decision.

	&nbsp;

	According to the Istanbul Convention decision published in the current issue of the Official Gazette, Turkey will officially withdraw from the Istanbul Convention as of July 1.
