Harassment allegation in Yurtiçi Cargo 2021-04-24 16:28:47   ERZURUM - Dilara Özonur, who was dismissed for exposing the harassment she was subjected by Yurtiçi Cargo Erzurum Regional Manager, said that the harassment of the regional manager was not the first and that these harassments were constantly covered up by the General Directorate.   Dilara Özonur, who worked as the secretary of the regional manager at Yurtiçi Cargo Erzurum Regional Directorate, announced on social media that she was subjected to harassment by the regional manager.   Dilara shared the harassment she was subjected to with the following words: "The regional manager always had implications. One day, I went to get the documents signed and asked me ‘What are your borders, what are your yes and no?’ I answered his questions, but he said he found it very classic. Another day when I went to get documents signed, he asked, ‘Are you a friend?’ Then he said, ‘There are three types of friendship.’ In the third definition, he gave an example that ‘You share everything without limit’. Therefore, I told him that his third example fits the definition of spouse. He didn't say anything on that."   ‘I told the manager about my experiences, I was dismissed’   Dilara said that she left her job as the secretary of the regional manager and transferred to the human resources department after the incident and said that she told the human resources deputy manager about her experiences and that she was dismissed. Dilara stated that she was threatened through her colleagues when she filed a criminal complaint after being fired and shared her experiences through social media. Dilara said that her friends called her and said, "If you do not withdraw the criminal report, they threaten us with firing". Saying that her father, who went to meet with the regional manager after the incident, promised to find a job for him. Dilara said, "I am right, they are trying to impose sanctions because they know this. I want the facts to be revealed".   'He was reported before'   Pointing out that the statement made by Yurtiçi Cargo about the incident is not correct, Dilara said, "It is written that I said in the statement was a slander. However, to say slander, first, an investigation is carried out and then an evaluation is made. I was not even called 'Do you have a defense?'. My coworkers told me, ‘This is not the first occurrence of this man’. He was reported by those who had been harassed before, but they were fired as I did. An e-mail was also sent that he harassed the employees, but the General Directorate covered up".
