Hunger strike against isolation continues on its 148th day 2021-04-23 10:17:48   NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched by the prisoners against the aggravated isolation and the increasing violations of rights in prisons has entered its 148th day.   The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, with the demands of lifting the isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is being held in İmralı Type F High-Security Closed Prison and ending the increasing violations of rights in prisons, continues with the 30th group. The action has entered its 148th day.    The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched in Greece's Lavrio Camp to end the isolation and support the hunger strikes in prisons is on its 110th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa), and Kurdish Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).   On the other hand, in the press releases made yesterday in Ankara and Şırnak, a call was made to meet the demands of the prisoners on hunger strike and to establish independent health committees for prisons.
