Prisoners: We will break the isolation 2020-12-05 09:30:50   ISTANBUL - The prisoners in Gebze Closed Prison stated that the guards infected them coronavirus on the pretext of searching the ward, and that prisoner Mizgin Aydın was body searched by force and said, "We will break the isolation, we will succeed."   PKK and PAJK prisoners started a hunger strike on November 27 against the aggravated isolation imposed on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the severe violations against their own rights. In the weekly telephone conversation with their families, prisoners in the Gebze Women's Closed Prison shared the rights violations they were subjected to. Stating that they could not use their common areas due to the coronavirus. The prisoners stated that communication between the wards was blocked. They also stated that with the decision of the Kocaeli 2nd Criminal Magistrate's Office, 4 wards were raided and the raid was carried out with a group of 40 people.    Prisoners' belongings were confiscated   During the searches made on November 27, it was stated that all the notes and belongings of the prisoners were confiscated, and searches were made without taking any epidemic measures. It was stated that the diaries, albums and books of the prisoners who had been imprisoned for many years in the raids were also confiscated.   Body search was made to Mizgin Aydın   Stating that a body search was made to cancer patient Mizgin Aydın, the prisoners said that two prisoners were caught  Covid-19. They also stated that they thought the virus was transmitted from the guards.   The prisoners noted that the ward searches were made to infect the disease and they made the following call to the public: “We are living in a very hard and bad conditions. But we cannot make our voices heard. We will break this isolation. We will succeed. We will continue our hunger strike until the end. "
