Police Prevents Lawyers From Visiting Their Cliens

	MERSİN - Esma and Ramazan Bakır were detained three days ego. Police do not let their lawyers to see them. Police said "lawyers were requested from the CMK (Lawyers appointed by the state). Clients will not meet you."

	 

	In Mersin, on October 16, house raids were carried out within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Akdeniz Municipality council member and HDP group co-spokesperson Şahize Akbaş and Esma Bakır, Salih Akbaş, Aziz Akbaş, İlhan Akbaş and Ramazan Bakır were detained.

	 

	Six people who were detained are accused of "being a member of a terrorist organization". The procedure of six people in the Political Branch of Mersin District Police Department is going on. And also police do not let them to see their lawyers.

	 

	Lawyers stated that their clients may be under pressure and torture.
