Malala Yusufzay's book ‘’We Are Displaced’’ met with the reader

	NEWS CENTER - Pakistani human rights defender Malala Yusufzay’s book, "We Are Displaced" is published by Epsilon Publishing House. The book brings together the lives of women and children in refugee camps.

	 

	Malala Yusufzay, the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner in the world, published her book “We Are Displaced’’. Malala, an education and human rights activist, reveals in her book that millions of women who had to leave Their homeland are not just statistics.

	 

	Based on Malala's own life story, the book explores the experiences of women and girls she encounters during her refugee camp visits. She also writes people who have lost their people, relatives and even their identities, address issues such as war, conflict and immigration.

	 

	“You lose hope completely, you break down and you break into pieces, or you show such resistance that no one will ever destroy you.”

	 

	Today, 68.5 million people are forced to leave their homes in the world, this study reveals the story of María, who hit the road one night after her father was killed, Sabrin, who tried to cross the Mediterranean with a boat, and Ajida, survivor of a genocide looking for ways to hold onto life.

	 

	Malala and nine women are encouraging readers to build a better world by inviting readers not to remain silent against  disasters in the world with their shocking life stories.

	 

	Yeşim Öksüzoğlu translated the book into Turkish.

	 

	Who is Malala Yusufzay?

	 

	She was born on 12 July 1997 in Mingora, Pakistan. In 2014, Malala won the youngest Nobel Peace Prize in the world.

	 

	Describing her experiences in her autobiographical book ‘’I am Malala’’, Malala received the “National Peace” and ‘’Reflections of Hope’’ awards, and in 2011 she was awarded with the ‘’International Children's Peace Prize’’ given by the Pakistani government for her struggle for girls' education.
